Before you ride.

Yes. When you book we confirm your level of experience and how comfortable you feel with horses, so we can choose the horse that best suits you. Our guides give you instructions so that you learn and enjoy the ride, always under their expert supervision.

The experience takes place in a rural area surrounded by nature, about 1.5 hours from Mexico City: roughly 90 km from the Historic Center, Roma, Condesa or Polanco, 30 of them inside the city and the rest by road into the countryside of Hidalgo.

You can take a bus from the Central de Autobuses del Norte. Coordinate it with us first so we can pick you up at the bus stop on the highway. We can also arrange transportation by car on request: the meeting point and price depend on the number of people traveling (an estimated 35 USD per person; meeting points such as Condesa, Polanco or Lindavista).

Comfortable jeans or long pants (no shorts), a light shirt, preferably long sleeved to protect you from the sun, and something extra in case it gets cold. Comfortable closed shoes without heels: boots or sneakers are best.

The experience is designed to fill the day. Departure from CDMX is usually in the morning, before breakfast, and the return is after lunch (in Mexico that is around 3 pm), so you are back in the city at approximately 5 pm. It is outdoors, so expect to be pleasantly tired.

Yes. Our house is rustic but very comfortable. With prior request we can coordinate lodging and include food and tours so you can enjoy more days with us. Ask our team for a tailored getaway and to confirm the availability of our rooms.

Yes. Food comes before and after the ride. We take each visitor’s preferences and restrictions into account and adapt the regional dishes so you can try the local cooking. Ask about personalised experiences if you want a specific dish or are celebrating something.
